Healthcare is a fast growing industry. In fact it accounts for about 14 percent of the gross national product or (GDP) in the United States. Other countries pale in comparison with only about 10 percent of their GDP. These figures are high which shows you the importance that is put on healthcare in these countries.

Healthcare is paid for by the majority of the United States residence through health insurance. Health insurance is usually provided by their employers, the government or purchased by the individual. Those who don't have health insurance end up paying high costs of the healthcare service provided. And healthcare gets more expensive every year. Although the hospitals in America are superb alot of people are unhappy with the high costs of healthcare. The costs of drugs are at an all time high and some people think that the state should regulate the pharmaceutical companies.
